Nesco Resource is looking for a Warehouse/Shipping Technician located in Watertown, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: 7AM-5PM Weekdays (OT Available)

Pay: $17-$20/Hour Depending on Experience

Position Overview : We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse / Shipping Technician to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining inventory integrity, and keeping information up to date in our ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment through LTL and common carriers
• Perform physical counts of parts and components to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Follow established procedures for material handling across multiple warehouse locations
• Communicate effectively with carriers and customers to support smooth shipping operations
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials
• Enter shipping and inventory data promptly and accurately into SAP (or similar ERP system)
• Assist with additional warehouse or shipping tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in warehouse, shipping, or inventory control
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Basic math skills for daily tasks and decision-making
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Familiarity with international shipping requirements and documentation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SAP or other ERP software systems
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Use of PPE when working on the production floor
• Regular physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, crouching, grasping, and distinguishing colors
