MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and accurately. As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to create documentation that supports our projects, programs, and services.
Responsibilities: - Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, and system guides.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure accuracy.
- Create clear, concise, and well-organized content for various audiences, including technical and non-technical users.
- Standardize content across platforms and media.
- Update and revise existing documentation to reflect changes and improvements in products or services.
- Use graphical and multimedia tools to enhance documentation.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of templates and style guides.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the technology industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to understand and document technical concepts and procedures.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with various publishing formats (web-based, PDFs, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with version control systems.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
