Job Title: Sponsorship Coordinator

Location: Davidson, North Carolina

Job Type: Full-Time, Entry-Level

About the Role:

We are seeking an energetic and driven Sponsorship Coordinator to join our team. This role is key in building partnerships, securing sponsorship revenue, and driving growth across our company and resorts. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly motivated, and excited by the opportunity to connect with potential sponsors in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Acquisition: Secure new sponsorship deals to drive resort and company growth.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with new and existing sponsors.

  • Pitch Deck Development: Continuously update and tailor pitch materials based on feedback and industry trends.

  • Travel: Ability to travel to resort sites, the corporate office, and to meetings with current and potential sponsors is required.

  • Cold Calling: Initiate contact with prospective sponsors through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.

  • Revenue Focused: Meet and exceed annual sponsorship revenue goals.

  • Team Collaboration: Work with resort leadership and marketing to ensure sponsor deliverables are executed and valued.

Compensation Structure:

Base Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year plus commission percentage based on acquired sponsorships.

Commission Breakdown:

  • $0 – $10,000 in sponsorships: 10% commission

  • $10,001 – $20,000 in sponsorships: 8% commission

  • $20,001 – $99,999 in sponsorships: 6% commission

  • $100,000+ in sponsorships: 5% commission

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Background in sponsorships or sales (preferred in hospitality or resort settings) is required.

  • Drive: Highly motivated with a proven ability to work independently toward performance goals.

  • Cold Calling: Experience initiating sponsorships/sales through direct outreach.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally out-of-state.

  • Pitch Deck: Proficient in creating pitch presentations and utilizing sponsorship tracking tools.

  • Location: Candidates must be based in or able to commute to Davidson, North Carolina to our corporate office.
