Job Description

We're looking for bright, driven, and hardworking seamstresses that have significant experience altering a wide range of fabrics and garments. There is no need to for design or pattern-making. 

Must be knowledgeable in adding new materials to garments. Comfortable primarily with women's clothing (dresses, skirts, blouses, gowns), and also men’s and children’s wear. Standard tailoring work required too, including embellishments and trims (buttons, snaps, zippers, etc.).

As we provide solutions to all our customer alteration needs:
Seamstress must remain focused to meet deadlines. 
Must be knowledgeable in adding new materials to all types of garments.
Strong understanding of both men’s and women’s alterations, fittings, & garment composition. 
Be accurate and productive in marking and pinning. 
Knows how to use all types of marking tools (rulers, hem markers &…) 
Experience operating on industrial sewing machines. Must having good sewing skills 

Note: This job does not require pattern-making skills or samples. No computer skills required either. 

Qualifications  
You need to be personable and professional, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to copy garments required.
Need to follow directions and ask questions when needed is a must.
English speaking preferred, but not required. 

Compensation
Work schedule can be full time or part time. Negotiable pay depending on experience.
