Description Job Opportunity: Senior Salesforce Developer Torrance, CA Onsite/Hybrid 46-week Contract Potential Extension Are you passionate about creating robust Salesforce solutions and mentoring others in a collaborative, agile environment? We are seeking a driven Senior Salesforce Developer/Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic team. You'll work on high-impact projects, provide technical leadership, and help drive the development and support of Salesforce applications within a fast-paced, constantly evolving organization. Responsibilities As a Senior Salesforce Developer, your role will include, but not be limited to: + Designing, developing, and providing production support for multiple large-scale projects using Salesforce technologies. + Leading development workstreams, working collaboratively with both junior team members and cross-functional teams (onshore and offshore). + Ensuring adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, including code reviews, process improvements, and mentoring. + Participating in daily Agile Scrum meetings to foster collaboration. + Collaborating with customers to define needs and provide innovative technical solutions. + Developing scalable and future-ready system architectures to meet organizational goals. + Resolving Salesforce application issues in both test and production environments. + Conducting performance improvements, such as optimizing batch processes and minimizing critical path windows. + Preparing thorough documentation for designs, estimates, and developments. + Supporting production environments as needed, including off-hours, nights, and weekends. + Mentoring team members to upskill and share subject-matter expertise on Salesforce applications. Key Activities + Developing, testing, and deploying solutions to align with business and technical requirements. + Debugging and enhancing existing applications while ensuring high performance. + Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve system efficiency. + Delivering clear technical documentation and providing training for development team members. + Maintaining the security and integrity of Salesforce solutions and environments. + Leading code reviews to ensure adherence to company standards and best practices. Requirements Required Skills & Experience To thrive in this role, you possess the following qualifications: + Salesforce Platform Developer Certification (Level I or II required). + Additional certifications such as Sales, Service, Community, or Marketing Cloud Consultant preferred. + Hands-on experience with Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud (required). + A minimum of seven years of Salesforce Application Development experience. + At least three years of leadership experience managing workstreams for enterprise implementations. + Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Development and Connected Apps. + Proficiency in Salesforce platform tools such as Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce Pages, and API integrations. + Knowledge of data migration tools such as Data Loader, MuleSoft, or Informatica. + In-depth understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, SOQL, SOSL, and optimization best practices. + Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. + Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attentiveness to detail. Preferred Skills + Experience working in the Captive Finance or related industry. + Familiarity with test practices, including unit testing and automated testing. + Leadership skills with an ability to mentor less-experienced team members effectively. + A commitment to stay adaptive and flexible in a fast-changing environment.
