Job Description

The UPS Store 4182 in West Linn, OR is looking for one sales associate to join our team. We are located on Willamette Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable. Part-time and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Receive and process packages for courier shipment,
• Operate copiers, fax machines, and print
• Work independently in an environment with a continuous flow of customers
• Operate cash register and handle cash accurately, efficiently, and following established procedures
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Receive, pack, and process shipments based on established procedures,
• Sort and distribute mail to in-center Mailbox customers accurately and in a timely manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Use judgment to solve customer problems
• Maintains scheduling commitments

Qualifications

• Fast Learner
• Can Type at least 65 wpm
• High school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Ability to stand throughout the shift
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
