**Job Title:** RN or LPN Private Duty Nurse (7pm - 7am)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized, high-quality care in a private duty setting. This position involves working 12-hour overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am, delivering healthcare services in the comfort of a client’s home. Trach and J tube experience required. Short term as patient is on hospice services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive care including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and overseeing treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Engage with clients to promote physical and emotional wellness.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all state and federal regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in home healthcare or private duty nursing is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
**Working Conditions:**
- Overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am.
- Work performed in a home setting, requiring adaptability to different environments.
- May require lifting or assisting mobility-impaired clients.
