Job Title: Research Nurse - Rotating Shifts Location: Wisconsin Schedule: Rotating 3 Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Advance Scheduling Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Research Nurse to support Phase 1 clinical trials. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and welfare of study participants while supporting the execution of clinical research protocols. Shift Details: + Rotating 3 Shifts: + 1st Shift: Start between 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM + 2nd Shift: Start between 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM + 3rd Shift: Start between 10:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight + Weekend Shift: Every other weekend + Schedules are typically set 2-3 weeks in advance Key Responsibilities: + Conduct study unit activities in accordance with Phase 1 clinical trial protocols + Enroll patients and lead the Informed Consent (ICF) process + Provide high-quality nursing care using clinical judgment and nursing diagnosis + Monitor participant well-being and identify potential adverse events + Document and respond to adverse events appropriately + Perform study-related procedures: + Cannulation + Telemetry, Holters + Vital signs, ECGs + Venipuncture + Collect and process biological samples per protocol and SOPs + Accurately record and transcribe data into Case Report Forms Qualifications: Required: + Active RN license in Good Standing in Wisconsin + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN) + 0-3 years of nursing experience in a patient-facing setting OR + Active LPN license in Good Standing in Wisconsin + 0-3 years of nursing experience Preferred: + Prior experience in clinical research + CPR and ACLS certifications Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MADISON, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
