The Reference Librarian’s main function encompasses a broad-spectrum including reference services via in-person, phone, and online chat; collection development; assisting in interlibrary loan; circulation management; troubleshooting basic IT questions; and individualized instruction with library resources.
Under the direction of the Director of Library Services, the Reference Librarian is responsible for a broad range of professional responsibilities of librarianship through effective performance in these essential duties:

Incumbents must possess proven ability to effectively work with a culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and student. They are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
Master’s degree in in Library Science with one (1) or more years of relevant experience working in a Library.
