Job Description

Our client, an in-house agency in Walker, MI is looking for aFreelance Project Managerto join their team. You’ll manage timelines, resources, budgets, and workflows—ensuring high-quality delivery across multi-channel campaigns including digital, print, social, and in-store (POP).

 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Directors, Studio Managers, and Creative leads to translate project briefs into clear timelines, deliverables, and estimates.
• Define project scope, budget, and schedules in collaboration with account and client teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed timing plans, tracking milestones and deliverables.
• Use project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com, Wrike) to manage schedules and workloads.

• Oversee day-to-day project progress, proactively resolving roadblocks and escalating risks.
• Serve as a central point of contact for internal and client stakeholders—communicating project updates, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate handoffs between creative, production, and account teams, ensuring alignment and quality.
• Assign and schedule internal resources; source external support as needed.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget and compliance standards.
• Track project costs, flag billing issues, and assist in estimate reconciliation.
• Educate internal teams on workflow best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience in an advertising or marketing agency setting.
• Strong background in multi-channel campaign execution, including print, digital, email, social, and POP.
• Familiarity with creative production workflows including photo shoots, video, and CGI.
• Proficiency in project management platforms such as Workfront, Monday.com, or Wrike.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and team dynamics across multiple projects.
• Interest or experience in GenAI tools for task automation, workflow optimization, and performance tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365; comfortable working across Mac and PC environments.
