Description
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of inverter production, with a strong emphasis on PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) processes and electronics manufacturing. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing workflows, leading a team of technicians and assemblers to meet production goals and increasing capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations for inverter assembly, testing, and final integration.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, and downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Train, mentor, and supervise production staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably with inverter systems or power electronics.
Strong knowledge of PCBA processes, including component placement, soldering, inspection, and testing.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools, especially NetSuite.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and functional testing of power electronics.
Knowledge of ESD-safe practices and cleanroom protocols.
