**Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick**
**Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00**
**Shift: 7p-7a; Rotating Weekends & Holidays**

**_All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring._**
**Join our Burn Intensive Care Unit, 3 West!**
_Primary Patient Population:_
+ Adult and Pediatric
+ Severe Burns
+ Frostbite
+ Necrotizing Tissue Disease
_Primary skills utilized/learned:_
+ Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking
+ Answering call lights & taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed).
+ Performing/transmitting basic ECG and phlebotomy.
_Personnel PCNA will work with_ _:_
+ LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, Trauma/Burn Surgeons, Respiratory Therapy, Child Life Specialists
_Number of beds on unit:_
+ 8 inpatient beds
+ Outpatient Clinic

Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
+ Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
+ Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position).
+ 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
