Part-Time Nanny – Norwood, MA

A warm and welcoming family in Norwood, MA is looking for a nurturing, reliable nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby. Their 2.5-year-old attends daycare during the day but will need pickup at 4 PM, followed by one hour of care for both children until the parents are home. The family values flexibility, as mom is a nurse with a changing weekly schedule, while dad works from home.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28–$30 per hour (depending on experience)

• 24 Guaranteed hours (weekly commitment even if family’s schedule shifts)

• 2 weeks PTO (one chosen by family one by nanny)

• Paid holidays off if they fall on scheduled workdays

• Parking available

Schedule & Hours:

• 3 weekdays per week- Monday, Wednesday and Friday  with some flexibility for a day change once in a while

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Occasional care for both children from 4:00–5:00 PM after daycare pickup

• Never weekends

Responsibilities:

• Provide loving care for the infant, including feeding, diapering, and developmental play

• Pick up 2.5-year-old from daycare at 4:00 PM (walkable or short drive – parking available)

• Care for both children from 4–5 PM

• Maintain tidy child spaces and assist with light household tasks related to the children

Family Details:

• Mom is a nurse with a changing weekly schedule but is usually M, W, Fr

• Dad works from home

• Family has a friendly dog - Samoyed

• Home has a pool (being removed in the near future)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience required)

• Must be 18 years or older to apply

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Comfortable with dogs

• Flexible, reliable, and engaging caregiver
