Job Title: Loss Prevention Officer
Schedule: Thursday - Sunday (2 PM - 6 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, Open to Close on Weekends)
Job Type: Part-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to help safeguard our store's assets, prevent theft, and ensure a safe shopping environment. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle security incidents professionally, and excellent customer service to deter potential loss.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor store activity to prevent theft, fraud, and policy violations.
• Conduct routine security checks throughout the store.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
• Work closely with store management and law enforcement if necessary.
• Assist in handling incidents such as shoplifting or disorderly conduct.
• Support a positive shopping environment while enforcing store policies.
• Complete detailed reports on security incidents and loss prevention efforts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be available to work the scheduled hours, including open-to-close shifts on weekends.
