Vasion is looking for a Web Designer that exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. You will be responsible for working with the other members of the marketing team to create campaigns, emails, landing pages, social media posts, event design, swag design and presentations. You’ll be one of the main shepherds of our new brand and growing line of products. The work will be broad, fast paced and collaborative.

Our ideal candidate is a self starting designer that has enough experience to tackle any of the requests we receive from our internal clients and partners. You are fast but thorough and thoughtful when you design. You need to be creative, organized, collaborative and humble. You are constantly “filling your bucket” creatively and have a passion for excellent design no matter how large or small the job is. You would have an interest in mentoring and being mentored. Culture is important on the creative team so bonus points are awarded for someone that likes to have fun and can brush off pressure with humor and grace.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually compelling, user-friendly websites from concept to launch.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver impactful solutions.
• Present design concepts and rationale clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Support developers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine user experiences.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance design quality.
• Maintain well-organized files and manage design assets consistently across projects.
• Accurately estimate time requirements and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Advocate for brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team skill development.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the organization.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of professional web design experience with a strong, portfolio-backed design methodology.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience designing with Figma components and systems.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS; ability to effectively collaborate with developers.
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals, including layout, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable giving and receiving constructive design feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Passion for web design with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Experience in the SaaS or software industry is a plus
