Position: HR Supervisor
Full Time: Salaried, Exempt
Location: Napa, CA 94558
Reports to: Controller
Salary Range: $78,000-$85,000 DOE

The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws, and supporting the HR team in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. This role involves collaborating with department managers to align HR practices with business objectives, improving employee engagement, and maintaining an efficient HR infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
•  Manage the hiring process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
•  Ensure new employees receive a smooth onboarding experience and necessary training.
•  Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
2. Employee Relations & Compliance
•  Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair and legal resolution.
•  Enforce company policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
•  Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.
3. Performance Management & Development
•  Support supervisors in conducting performance evaluations and setting goals.
•  Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
•  Promote a positive work culture by recognizing employee contributions.
4. Payroll & Benefits Administration
•  Assist in managing employee benefits, leave requests, and payroll processing.
•  Ensure accurate recordkeeping for payroll and compliance reporting.
•  Provide employees with guidance on benefits and compensation inquiries.
5. HR Operations & Reporting
•  Maintain employee records, HRIS updates, and reports for management.
•  Monitor and analyze HR metrics to improve processes and retention.
•  Support HR audits and compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•  3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
•  Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
•  Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•  Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
•  Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Preferred Skills:
•  Experience in the manufacturing, production, or beverage industry.
•  HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
•  Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll a plus.
