About Us:

Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons of all ages with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for adolescents, young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission.

About the position:

Maryland Treatment Centers is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, documentation, and helping staff behind the scenes in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare onboarding packets and orientation materials
• Maintain and update personnel files and employee databases
• Monitor compliance items such as trainings, licenses, and certifications
• Assist with filing, termination paperwork, and general HR documentation
• Provide support to employees and assist HR staff as needed
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in HR, office administration, or front desk preferred
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills
• Comfortable with data entry and managing paperwork
