**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals for six general production and assembly positions, with openings available on all shifts. This role involves working in various cells, each with a specific production function, and includes cross-training to learn other functions. The work is primarily focused on basic mechanical and electrical assembly on the production floor, requiring a high level of attention to detail. **Responsibilities** + Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly on the production floor. + Work in different cells, such as Helicoil, Deburring, Heat Pipe Assembly, and Codman line, each involving specific tasks and attention to detail. + Inspect and assemble small parts, ensuring compliance with quality standards. + Utilize small hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, hammer, and wrenches. + Document production numbers, work performed, schedule quality control checks, and issues encountered using both paper and computer systems. + Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. + Ensure good attendance and adherence to safety and quality protocols. **Essential Skills** + Assembly skills with a focus on mechanical and electronic components. + Production experience with the ability to work with small parts and repetitive tasks. + Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions. + Proficiency in using a computer for documentation purposes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma is required. + Ability to read a tape measure and basic mechanical skills are advantageous. + Experience in a production environment and ability to read and document in work orders. **Why Work Here?** This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with the chance to learn additional skills and cross-train in multiple areas. Due to an increase in business and a recent new client acquisition, the company is expanding and adding staff. The position primarily involves sitting at a table, making it less physically demanding, but requires close attention to detail and accuracy. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
