**Job Title: Plant Operations Assistant** **Job Description** The Plant Operations Assistant, reporting to the Production Supervisor, is tasked with operating manufacturing and packaging equipment. This includes setting up equipment, ensuring product quality, and adhering to production schedules. **Responsibilities** + Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment. + Hang and seal bags of product. + Fill and seal shaker bottles with product. + Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level. + Place product on pallets according to specifications. + Assist in maintaining equipment, including cleaning production equipment and lines. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Basic math skills. + Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment. + Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities. + Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing is preferred but open to other industries such as restaurant. + Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. + Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, and dust. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment. Employees can expect exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and dust. The role requires long periods on feet and repetitive motions.
