Job Description:

Want a first look into a career in Sales & Trading?

Created for undergraduate sophomores who are early in their careers, this one-day event provides students with exposure to the Global Markets business at TD Securities.

Selected participants can expect:

• An overview of TD Securities, our culture,and what it means to work in Sales & Trading.

• Insight into the TD Securities summerinternship programs.

• Hear from subject matter experts in the business and gain insight from women leaders on navigating a career in finance.

• Tour and mini rotation on the trading floor.

• Networking opportunities with leaders in the business.

• Date: Friday, December 12

• Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET

• Location: One Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, NY

Eligibility Requirements

• Undergraduate sophomores (class of 2028) currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.

• Students from both STEM and non-STEM background are encouraged to apply.

• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Depth & Scope:

• Builds an understanding of the businesses and Customers the role supports
• May answer and direct incoming calls internally and externally
• Provides support for Manager and others areas, as indicated
• May assist in completing various departmental projects/reports
• May assist in the Preparation of specific schedules related to the monthly/quarterly/yearly reports or projects
• Analyzes specific accounts
• Assists in the preparation of specific federal and state returns
• Assists with projects
• Assists in the audit requests
• Assists with operational and administrative functions

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Currently enrolled in 4 year college program or post graduate program
• 3.2 GPA or higher preferred
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in an office environment
