**Responsibilities** **Mercy Medical Group (MMG)** , a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Physician to our busy Family Medicine Department at our Natomas Clinic in Sacramento, CA. **Highlights:** + Patient-centric, physician-led medical home model with advanced clinical practitioners and nurses + Excellent telephone call schedule + 24-hour advice nurse available + Hospitalists available 24/7 + Work in a collegial and supportive environment + Shareholder track opportunity + Generous compensation and benefits + Bonus available + Stipend incentive possible for graduating residents Compensation Range: $275,000 - $290,000 / Year **Qualifications** + **A valid and unrestricted California medical license** + **Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)** + **Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program** **Patient Care:** + Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. + Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. **Communication:** + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. **Documentation:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. **Diagnostic Procedures:** + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. **Team Collaboration:** + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. **Quality Improvement:** + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. **Compliance:** + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. **Continuous Learning:** + Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. + Participate in ongoing medical education and training. + Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. **Overview** Mercy Medical Group is a dynamic, growing organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area.
