What You’ll Do 

Position Summary: 

The Driver’s Helper is to support our delivery operations. The Driver’s Helper will assist the driver with navigation, safely unload and deliver products using a dolly, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries to our customers. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist drivers in navigating delivery routes and communicating directions as needed. 

• Unload products safely and efficiently using a dolly and/or hand truck. 

• Use inclined ramps to move freight from the truck to the delivery site. 

• Deliver goods to customer locations and stock products in designated areas as specified by the customer. 

• Obtain signatures and delivery confirmations to verify successful drop-offs. 

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized delivery vehicle. 

• Assist the driver with tasks in safety-sensitive areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. 

• Communicate professionally with customers, demonstrate a high level of service and courtesy. 

• Help inspect products and packaging to ensure accuracy and condition before delivery. 

• Perform additional duties as directed by the driver or operations team. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Previous delivery or warehouse experience is a plus but not required. 

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift. 

• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments. 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills. 

• Must be punctual, dependable, and customer focused. 

• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions. 

Work Environment: 

• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of products. 

• Working in and around trucks, ramps, and warehouse docks. 

• May involve early mornings, overnights in a sleeper or hotel, extended shifts, and weekend availability.
