Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential to delivering excellent patient care and ensuring efficient dental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
• Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals, dental implants.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Record patient medical and dental histories accurately.
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene advice.
• Manage infection control protocols, including sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and surfaces.
• Maintain dental supply inventory and order materials when necessary.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Dental Assistant program (preferred).
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
