Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for improving patient care? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead clinical teams in providing exceptional care for critically ill and post-ICU patients. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of patient care, mentoring healthcare professionals, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the clinical leader, working alongside executive leadership and HR to enhance both employee and patient experiences.
Lead and support nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care and optimal staffing ratios.
Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with respiratory and rehabilitation departments to ensure a well-rounded approach to care.
Oversee fiscal responsibilities, managing budgets effectively to ensure financial stability while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Engage in workforce development, leading educational programs for new graduates and returning nurses.
Foster a positive work environment where staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to provide the best care possible.
What We're Looking For:
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Master's in Healthcare (or active enrollment in a Master's program) is preferred.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Skills: Experience with ventilators, hemodynamics, critical drips, ET tubes, and wound care.
