Job Description

Fairmont Foods is seeking a dedicated Boiler Operator to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility’s heating systems. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the boilers, engines, and mechanical rooms that are essential to our daily operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boilers and related heating equipment.
• Make manual adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and equipment status.
• Identify and report any issues or needed repairs to management promptly.
• Complete other duties as assigned to support the maintenance and operation of facility systems.

Qualifications

• Class B boiler operator license or higher required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and supervisory staff.
• Physically able to walk, stand, bend, and lift regularly as part of daily duties.
• Comfortable working in environments with loud noise and high temperatures.
• Capable of maintaining written logs and reports as part of the job.
