Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks Enter invoice and transaction data accurately into accounting systems Maintain and organize financial records and documentation Assist with general accounting tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in data entry, general math, and analyzing financial information Experience using Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education & Experience (any one of the following): High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience Associate degree with 3+ years of experience Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience Preferred Skills: Familiarity with accounting procedures and documentation Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Experience in a nonprofit or human services environment is a plus
